UHDL Workshop 2023: Creating a 4D historical model of a city: Learning experiences from a hackathon

The Valais Wallis Time Machine Team presented a paper at the 2023 UHDL Workshop on Research and Education in Urban History in the Age of Digital Libraries in Munich, on 27 & 28 March 2023

The paper “Creating a 4D historical model of a city: Learning experiences from a hackathon” argues that a bottom-up methodological approach, developed during the Valais Wallis Time Machine hackathon, can effectively guide the creation of accurate and plausible 4D historical models of cities, demonstrating the value of interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation in digital humanities projects.
